WITH CHECK OPTION is coming in 9.4 . It's already done apparently. You can sorta do it now with security_barrier views, but they aren't auto-updatable, so you need to write more code, which is a PITA.

Yes, it is. Though it is salted (but not randomly sadly). For stronger password hashing, you can keep your user accounts in LDAP, and have PG authenticate with LDAP.

8 core procs are dirt cheap. Dualy mobos are cheap. A quarter terabyte of ram is a couple grand. A terabyte drive costs fifty bucks. A 1000 core gpu card is a couple hun. Til you max out a box with those specs, you don't need big data.

Recruiters are can shuddup, in the same way that old-school baseball scouts can shuddup. Show us the stats. Do your own Project Oxygen if you don't have the stats.

Protip: Google "buy domain name", look for ads from godaddy or other registrars. Can usually get domains for a buck instead of ten bucks.

How about companies pledge to never hire NSA staff? Close the accounts of and ban surveillance supporters and their families?

Does the WIFI LED flash a different colour when it uploads directly to the NSA? What am I going to do with 8GB of RAM? My mom has 8GB of RAM.

Lots of complaining on here, but I was glad to see it. The government certainly didn't have to. It doesn't have to pardon everyone convicted of a crime that is no longer a crime. It was a good thing to do for a good man, and I com

General. Don't use TLS compression or HTTP compression for any information you want to keep secret. BREACH and CRIME attacks exploit this. You can still use, say, HTML minification. You can compress your js and css as long as you make

Don't forget to disable TLS compression and HTTP compression for pages containing session ids or CSRF tokens. Basically you need a cookie-less HTTPS subdomain for your static media, and a www.example.com HTTPS domain for your content.

I believe you need to buy the identity cert first ($60/year) and then the org cert ($60/year), so more like $120 a year if you want the org cert, but still a good deal.
