Are you claiming that the Upper-West Side is only white? Isn't that a kind of racism? Minorities can't get rich and own houses in a fancy part of town? She might be the only white person in her building for all you know. I suspect that many

I'll admit there's a really powerful bias against Roma as charlatans, hucksters, con artists, etc. Some of it is well earned, some of it is a survival response to centuries of racial discrimination and segregation. However, I've personally

My first day back in New York after a year in Berlin, I got on the subway and found my end of the car dominated by an obscenity-shouting black man with a crutch and a suitcase spilling garbage. Apparently she has never met a homeless Roma

I haven't had Marmite in quite a while. But if memory serves, the savoriness (smell and flavor) was really more intense -- it's hard to describe, almost like burnt steak ground up into a paste. Vegemite always seemed to be more palatable to

It's more a problem of people just not eating stuff that's been slogged halfway across the planet and deposited into an active combat zone. So they try to supply menu items that'll get eaten. That being said, there's usually a vegetarian me

Nothing much. Some of the meals have a high fiber cracker you can use with the Peanut Butter or Cheese Spreads and I think the chocolate drink mix has some fiber. But I don't think it provides nearly enough fiber to overcome the logjam in

Vegemite is similar to Marmite that's common in Britain and former colonies. It's loaded with vitamins that can be hard to get in certain situations (like when meat is short). It tastes like a combination of steak, Guinness and soy sauce.

Get a pen you like. Take a deep breath and relax all your muscles. Hold the pen very lightly. Pretend it's about to fall apart in your hand. The tighter you hold the pen the worse and slower you'll write.
