Yeah it is the norm these days. I’ve been using macs for 15 years and they bave been fantastic until the very last iteration (after 2016, 17). My latest MacBook (16") is so unstable that it is actually funny at this point.

I feel like this is wishful thinking. There is no way you can abstract away so many differences between languages for this to work effectively (or anywhere near as good as a tailor fitted refactoring engine to specific languages) IDEA does

Stardew gets much more intense than AC. AC is chill, slow. No hard consequences. No mistakes.. It is fun though.

It is. However there was an exploit on older macbooks where an attacker managed to flash the firmware, disabling the led. I believe recent macs are much hardened on both hardware and software. Still a possibility.

Well I guess you can not go wrong with either React or Vue at this point as they have mature communities. However I feel like while React is just fantastic on its corner, Svelte seems like a better built Vue than Vue. It lacks the community

There are obviously clipboard managers that watch the clipboard changes and save a history (I can't live without one) Some apps do little UX tricks like a parcel tracker app that I have would prompt saving a new parcel if it detects a

Well a managed kubernetes cluster is not any more complex than the other solutions. You can use GCP control panel to launch clusters, add nodes, launch containers expose and autoscale them without touching a single line of config file or a

It is a single point of failure. I want multiple smaller instances even if I’m running something trivial. It is not about scale but about reliability for us. And the moment I go with multiple instances I need something to manage that mess.

Maybe when it is a widely known abbreviation for something else? We are not computer algorithms here. A human being can decide "yeah this sounds like cable news network" and use the long form of this CNN.

Well the API that is behind TLS can provide content verification data (file hashes). Then the client can reject any tampered stuff even without encryption on the transport.

I don't think it is. I mean, search works just fine on an offline machine (normally). Bing is used for some online results on the same panel. However now it does not show local files even if I disable the internet connection. I guess t

I loved Android's notification model for these stuff. When I'm sharing a large video to WhatsApp on iOS, it shows a progress bar that needs to be on the screen. Android just fires a progress bar notification that stays in the noti

It is one of very few technologies that I need to get a pen and paper and some quiet time to decide on a table schema. Most of the time I need to redo it after coming up with new query requirements. I hate and love it at the same time.

But its Apple Card? Why do I care about the business relation of Apple and GS or whatever? If my MacBook CPU fails, its on Apple, not Intel. I don't care where they got it. I don't have an Apple card though, not available here.
