Yea if you want higher quality, I wouldn't use youtube. I still recommend XVidCap for linux... I find it much better then the others (like RecordMyDesktop). The quality will be very HQ and you could easily convert to FLV and host it yoursel

Funny, after I moved from programming assembly to mostly C (on microcontrollers) I thought pointers and memory allocation were the neatest things. I guess it all depends on your perspective, write a few thousand lines of assembly on a chip

I disagree as well. I have used 99designs before and was very happy with the results. I know that designers don't like these sites anymore then coders like elance or anything, but if it works... people will use it

Signed up, but I am not really sure what (of any difficulty) could be accomplished in only 2 or 4 hours. I guess 2 hours of tagging photos would work, as long as the learning curve is short.

I started with assembly, moved to C, dabbled in C++ and some of the microsoft solutions (c#, VB), then moved to ruby for web stuff... Cant say I would want to learn in a different order, but I do wish I would have moved out of my assembly l
