Norwegian experience is that you only need on average 1-2 kW on a load balanced system (individual chargers are 22 kW). I hope the regulation allows for that?

It's 1.5 years since I was in Tokyo and I didn't have Apple Pay at the time - but isn't NFC Visa and MasterCard payments rolled out yet? International Apple Pay is just standard NFC, so I would be surprised if it doesn't

That doesn't immediately sound good. E.g., baby wipes thrown in the toilet will clog the sewage pumps and break them. If bamboo toilet paper works the same way, you'll have a big issue!
