Pretty soon we'll be walking around with electronic warfare backpacks on our backs to disable all this bullshit within 300 foot radius. I thought no one would want Zuck's ad platform on their face. Apparently I was underestimating

Karpathy knows Musk better than the vast majority of people - he worked for him for an extended period of time when he was head of AI at Tesla. We're likely talking personal phone number and getting invited to dinner kind of "know

Here's why: https://news.gallup.com/poll/651977/americans-trust-media-re... Mainstream outlets have viewerships that compare disfavorably to those of top youtubers. That has been the case for many years now.

I'm not talking about people who struggle. Plenty of rich MFs out there who aren't really doing anything anywhere near as inspirational with their wealth. I mean them, the people for whom a few billion here and there is not going

Whether or not we actually stick around on Mars, the mere thought that hundreds/thousands of us are going to walk on its surface within my lifetime is just so mind blowing and exciting to me. For the life of me I can't see why Mus

You're trying to weasel out of this, which I will not allow. I specifically said that they make profit in their car business _even excluding_ all the other things. They do carry forward prior losses, of course, of which they had a mass

Same. The gradient is ugly and unnecessary IMO. Looks like discoloration, especially in the progress bar. But hey, if the promo committee likes it, what's a couple billion users between friends?

Citation needed. In 2024 Tesla reported average margins of about 20%, excluding all that. I get it, you don't like Musk, but let's not get carried away here.

There are no fundamentals justifying valuations of most multi-trillion dollar US companies, and yet here we are. Also, Tesla is currently the only US company that figured out how to make EVs profitably. And one of the very few in the world.

Doesn't matter what they could and could not see - the ceiling for helicopters there is 200 feet. They were flying at 300. Make whatever conclusions you like from that, I've made mine.

Why not go out on a limb and produce a 64GB compute-optimized card with 1TB/sec memory bandwidth, Intel? What do you have to lose at this point?
