Yes. This is why PHP got such a bad reputation. A lot of new developers where copy and pasting quick example code from stack overflow, or code from other new developers who only kind of knew what they were doing.

The first iterations of tailwind were really interesting. I took a lot of design system concepts from it. There are two problems with tailwind; 1) https://twitter.com/dillonchanis/status/1706473840367247482/..

I imagine nothing happens. It's just an indication of what the company is thinking they're going to pay. This helps people who are bad negotiators from getting into trouble; "And what are your salary requirements?" "

No, that's super helpful. You know to avoid that job. Likely the requirements listed will be inaccurate as well.

Wait. that doesn't sound like you're doing 1000s of raycasts? Just a few, maybe a dozen? also, sounds like you're using JS, not Godot?

Wait, I thought the reason sip on macOS was so terrible was because you couldn’t overwrite whatever system files you wanted without jumping through hoops… why would you bring an anti feature like that to Linux?

Keep in mind that very often, the person interpreting as a hard requirement, and the on showing it's not, are different people. There's a lot of cargo culting going on, especially on twitter. This has only gotten worse since twitt

In order to use websites as a desktop app, i would think you need to download a binary and run it. Otherwise it's just a normal web app?

That's not what the parent is talking about. They're specifically refering to password authentication to make the ssh connection.

I've got no sympathy, since you keep saying 'random script off the internet'. When you say datamining, what exactly do you mean? I've never had to datamine a codebase. It's not a database. Using the wrong terms for

I didn't go to deep, but I don't immediately see how you add business logic and custom validation. Not like this varchar can only be these values, but like if this field is X, then field Y can only by these values, and field Z is

I misread the parent. I originally read it as it's easy to clone twitter. My response is it's easy enough to build a micro-blogging platform/service. it's all the other shit like moderation, regulatory/legal complia

Are you sure about that. With things like twitter, the ui is not the hard part. Things like moderation are the secret sauce. All the corner cases and support for devopsy stuff likely account for a lot. Routing to specific instances for cele

This. I’ve been think about this a lot. Like how htmlx is reinventing something called pjax (though better). There’s many other examples. It’s a lot of newer programmers never investigating the “lore”. I don’t think it’s part of CS curricul

But now you’re talking about a niche enough audience, that existing ways of running a web server on your phone are fine, and they’ll jump over the proverbial hurdle. This still doesn’t remove the issue with running a server via mobile conne

Out of curiousity, serious questions. Is this support for specific features, or does it just not work in 3.11? What's the issue? High level anyways, I'm sure there's stuff that seems basic, but is incredibly complex under the
