I don't think the point being made here has anything to do with the current quality of the output. ChatGPT could be giving good or bad results, that's tangential. The debate here is about whether a system that is a parrot can be a

Exactly, this is why many of the Apple services are useless unless you are 110% in their ecosystem. At least Apple Music is the one app they somehow made available on Android and Windows.

Wouldn't the alternative rather be to use commas there, not a hyphen? "Sometimes writing for money, rather than for art or pleasure, is really quite enjoyable." In your head, do you read those differently?

There's a huge difference between "in a company of 150K+ engineers, a non-negligible number of them are probably not very productive" vs "over-hired talent to do fake work". At that scale, there will always be ineff

While there's been a lot of attention on cases where AI fails quite poorly (such as anything requires factual information), it is actually very good in specific use cases. I personally find it very useful for answering NP-hard-like que

I'm curious why are you looking at 2021 specifically? Isn't the whole idea that 2021 was a huge year for every tech company, leading to overhiring, followed up by 2022 which was a rough year for every tech company? They went from
