I thought my code was hard to debug, can you imagine understanding and debugging code written by an AI?

That is how it works, I thought that was the whole point. It's a game about greed. You can either play it safe and go up 1 by 1, or go fast. The max you can get is 5 if you press immediately, seems to drop down to 1 after half a turn.

It is a bit of a slippery slope, because at some point, you could just do "GameApp.AddScore(10000)" which is clearly not playing the game. The line of what's "fair" and what's not isn't too clear. I do thi

It is a weird situation because it's hard to decide where to draw the line. Even right now the exceptions are weird and semi-arbitrary. Everyone paying 30% doesn't work, but neither does no one paying 30%, since every app would ju

How well this system works depends directly on the delta between how influential the platform is vs how influential the accused is. As you mention, eBay for the longest time was one of the only/biggest way to sell things online, and re

This reminds me of my favorite "true but hard to believe" fact. Imagine you have a string wrapped tightly around the earth, how much more string to you need to raise the string 10cm above the ground everywhere? The answer just fee

So is the earth, really. Reminds me of how all humans would fit in a ball of meat in Central Park [0]. The satellites aren't much bigger than humans, so even if there was a starlink satellite for every single human, it would still bare

A great addition to prune a ton of false-positives is to check the length of the strings. Almost always, the intentional implicit concats will have a very long string that reaches the max line length, whereas the accidental ones are almost

A lot of people in this thread are using this to make fun of Python, but the exact same issue exists in something like c++, here's some I fixed recently: https://github.com/UWQuickstep/quickstep/pull/9

But does one given shorthand get hardcoded to go to a single word, or is it using some "autocorrect" system that predicts the word you want? Whatever system this uses seems more powerful than steno to me.

Same, found that I had to click the "X" next to the pause before the autoplay kicks in (you have like 5s). Then you can click another right away.

To me, it comes down to this line: > have a computer program generate a predicted word Do steno devices do this? This right there easily disqualifies it from competitions. It's like using the keyboard autocomplete. If you're us
