I have found the same to be true in game development once all the pieces start coming together. There is no substitute to just using the thing. Maybe you don't find bugs/splinters, maybe you realise that it just doesn't feel

If you like this kind of urban exploration of infrastructure, but you can't get out and do it; I cannot recommend the game INFRA enough. I believe the company who made it originally did 3D visualisations of infrastructure for companies

To your point about first impressions, I appreciate hearing a similar outlook about such circumstances. I have pretty severe scarring from a thing I am afflicted with, and it's very noticeable. I will often cover them up for the first

Parasocial relationships don't require interaction, you could just watch a twitch streamer a lot. I think if we defined it by requiring interaction we would underestimate the percieved impact of these social phenomenon.

Cheating on what, the computer vetting process? Maybe companies should actually interview people in person, then they wouldn't have a problem anymore. Good candidates are swirling around in the limbo of bad faith automated vetting tool

I kind of did do that when switching from the full layout keyboard to a 58 key layout, it was indeed big a distraction for a few weeks as I learned where things were. The accuracy was the big slowdown, I was mistyping a lot, rather than slo

Beautifully put. I didn't give it serious thought until perhaps 5 years ago, at which point I started gearing my tools to keyboard only input. I had always found the mouse clumsy, inconcise and a distraction if it was needed. Without g

I "touch type" at 120-140, it doesn't help me program, at all. I got that fast because I spent my teens in chatrooms, but it's not homerow style, it's any finger anywhere at any time hover touch typing. This was a r
