I actually find it way easier and shorter to review code I've written in J and APL, because it is so succinct and the symbols are well defined. Having to review something that is a paragraph or one page of code is much easier than foll

My first computer! I bought it used in 1977/78. I paid $800 for the 32k upgraded one. I learned to program on this, but actually learned PDP-11 assembly from a book before I purchased it. Of course, not applicable to PET Basic! I loved

Oh, just like when pre-Musk Twitter banned NY Post/journalists over a true story about Hunter Biden's laptop. I don't see how an anti-doxxing rule banning people tracking Elon Musk's whereabouts is worse.

Some are talking about the risk of myocarditis after vaccination as being way less than the risk of dying from COVID. I would say this is just one thing popping up about the vaccines. There no long-term studies of the vaccination even if th

Found the videos for HOPE 1994, and the one with Eric Hughes. I found myself in the video at age 30! Still a good talk: https://infocondb.org/con/hope/hackers-on-planet-earth/crypt...

Amazing! Did you implement your own vector lib? I have been studying Geometric Algebra, and I wondered how hard would it be to try and duplicate your vector lib in GA. I am also a beginner with Clojure, but not Lisp, and this is something I

I feel the same way. I've dove in three or four times on Rust, but I get stuck learning Rust and not producing what I first set out to do in it. Currently, I have committed to learning Zig for my low-level or C-type projects, and I hav

I hope they don't go down the Rust path. A scripting language or DSL needs to be simple for game dev. They certainly are not going to rewrite UE5 from C++ to Rust!
