I agree that "asking a friend" is not legit and would be cheating, but using google to find something is more like open book testing. The closest thing I could think of would be to set the iPad into Guided Access mode where you ca

It sucks that googling for something counts as cheating, when really it's a skill that applies to about 90% of real life :-)

My kid just got a school-issued iPad in 5th grade. Awesome! But he's also required to buy a lame-o TI calculator as well?! Why?! Oh, because the standardized testing companies are freaked out by iPads. TI has a stranglehold because

1) I've tried various terms - seniors, retired folks, etc. I love my audience! And they aren't offended by the term. Young folks, old folks - it's not a negative term here in the midwest. 4) Nope, I've got a great gam

Following up on this for anyone in a similar situation - I ended up finding a guy who repairs old iPhones and thus has lots of parts, and he was able to put a logic board with 4.3.5 in it into a shell and make a working test device for me.

What I'd like to see is their analytics showing how many unique users are playing the game compared with sales numbers from the App Store, to get the actual percentage of piracy that's occurring. Bonus points would be to show how

Anytime I read a comment that uses "lifestyle business" as a demeaning term, I tend to think that whoever said it doesn't have a family, or is sadly missing out on them.

Any pointers on where you can get a reliable dedicated server for $50 a month? Rackspace (if I'm reading it right at https://www.rackspace.com/managed_hosting/configurations/ ) starts at $789 a month?!

What's your revenue split between banner and interstitial? I've only been doing banner so far, but have been gearing up to try Revmob. GameCenter's payload size got increased from 4K to 64K - you must move a lot of data! :-) I do agree on
