> Why have 1bn users and make $1 per user? Isn't it better if then have 200mn users and make $20 per user? In one case you make $1BN and in the other you make $4BN. So yes, the latter would objectively be better. :-)

There is no choice being taken away - you don't have a choice at this point - you must use "the" App Store whether you like it or not. Maybe the Apple App Store can get it's shit together and present a less hostile envir

It's not that my friend gave my info to someone else. My friend allowed the app to ask Facebook information about me. In the end, it's still Facebook who handed over my data. That my friend decided that was OK doesn't change

Does that ever work reliably? I've tried it on a number of different systems, and half the time it just does nothing, and when it does, the screen updating is quite choppy to the point of being unusable.

Melt your computer with compilation? A Node program? More to the point, did you audit Tensorflow? If no, then what's your point to begin with? If yes, what made you conclude that auditing Tensorflow is doable, but usually simple NPM mo

What does that prove? The six dependencies are probably an order of magnitude larger than the NPM ones. If anything, lots of small dependencies is more Unix-y than one big dependency.

No knowledgeable, expert Unix user I know brushes a Node program aside just because it is Node.

Sure, let's throw out rule of law, it's not like we can trust those judges, right?

Why would the media need to "vigorously look into them" if judges already threw out the cases?

Every single case got struck down by judges. People were pissed about a lack of election transparency that wasn't actually there. If the opinion of judges wasn't enough to convince them, what makes you think that of an auditor wou

I remember once writing an IRC script for Microsoft's IrcX implementation that unmasked a masked IP, literally one character at a time. Sometimes these things are by design. :-)

I never said the problem was in the EXT4 filesystem. The problem resulted in EXT4 corruption. Quite sure the Git corruption issue WSL2 has isn't in Git either.

Yes, let's pretend that the 4.19 EXT4 corruption issue in 2018 never happened.

People trying to explain to you why you are wrong is not the same as people gaslighting you. Your judgment seems to be heavily influenced by how you feel about people partaking in the stock market. When you're done with the ad hominems
