Sorry for the redundantly redundant stuff, it is unrelated to my TBI and is mostly sleepiness, 2 glasses of wine, and a nasty pulled muscle. I would edit, but i won’t because it is kind of funny! :D

THAT depends on the injury. Some can’t be healed. That being said, new treatments are being discovered all the time. I suffered from a TBI and I am part of a study. The medication I am on is 4 decades old, but it helps folks with TBIs, long

Have you read the news lately? Amazon is about to restrict the rights of kindle users. They are about to remove the ability to download and transfer books via USB. I don’t support/condone piracy, but I also don’t support the current tr

Haven’t read the art yet (about too), but I found the title humorous considering how inaccurate my washer/dryer are. The other my dryer said 1 minute for 5 minutes and 51 seconds. I timed it!

FWIW actual kindles don’t need to be online except if you are buying a book or transferring one via their website. Older Kindles did have an optional cellular connection, but that was to make purchases easier. Kindles aren’t limited to the

From a per mm2 performance standpoint things absolutely have slowed considerably. Gains are primarily being eked out via process advantage (which has slowed down) and larger chips (which has an ever-shrinking limit depending on the tech use

I guess that would depend on execution. If your password manager uses strong encryption and you also use MFA for it (a yubikey for example), I imagine it isn’t all that less secure. Your point still stands, however.

You’d be surprised how dumb people are, many don’t even know what they are or look like. Air Tags are also concealable, and on my backpack I have one inside the strap. You can’t tell it is there.

I owned a website with over a million users. Used cloudflare and a $20 cloud instance to run it. Also relied on certain other CDNs. Don’t own it anymore, but considering starting a new project.

Every instruction takes a different amount of clock cycles (and this varies between architectures or iterations of an architecture such as Zen 4-Zen 5), so that is not feasible unless running the workload produced the exact same instruction

He didn’t provide enough detail here. The second CCD on a Ryzen chip is not as well binned as the first one even on. non-X3D chips. Also, EVERY chip is different. Most of the cores on CCD0 of my non-X3D chip hit 5.6-5.75ghz. CCD 1 has cores

Well that and changing a chip can take years due to redesigning, putting through validation, RTM, and time to create. Building chips is a multiyear process and most folks don’t understand this.

It sounds to me like it was too small to make any real difference except in very specific scenarios and a larger one would have been too expensive to implement compared to the benefit. That being said, some workloads will see a small regres
