I've been working remote for almost a decade, and most of the companies I've worked for have pulled me into the office at some point. All expenses paid of course. No, it does not stop an employee from outsourcing work, however a d

Don't like introverts, I guess? You must be new here. You should get used to it. Many of us are reserved in our replies.

I don't work for an early-stage startup, however, the company I work for is early mid stage. They share everything except (annoyingly enough) individual employee compensation. They also share risks/opportunities in a very transpar

Agreed. I did not get a license (thanks to getting married, getting old, having kids and stuff), however taking flying lessons was the best thing I ever did for myself. Planes want to stay in the air. They don't just crash.

You described the US (regarding not signing, you are mistaken about the signature aspect). Most places stopped accepting signatures several years ago. Card readers are almost always 'insert' except in the very rare case where a ca

I mean, if you actually knew what was going on at Microsoft, you'd understand. I don't work for them, don't use their tech stack (not since the 2000s at least), however even I know they've moved to a cross platform UI&#x

If you view people as dead weight, that is the problem. Few folks that make a decent salary want to do the bare minimum. Only managers that treat them as such will call them 'dead weight'. Note that I'm not claiming you to be

Apple actually has really tight quality control over the applications found on the app store. If your app is found to have a vulnerability, it goes away immediately. That is why you don't have apps with malware or apps rooting the devi

iMessage users don't get spam from other iMessage users. Also, iMessage lets you filter out 'known' and 'unknown' senders. Apple also will automatically flag/block certain messages if they are clearly spam.
