No. The countless garbage-tier attempts to measure productivity have, however, and the interview process for ALL companies should absolutely be regulated. Until realism can change things, I'm going to retire.

It definitely isn’t ready for use as a daily driver. There are lots of bits missing (see below for an example) and power management isn’t great compared to macOS.

Virtual box has graphical configuration for a ton of different options. It also “just works” in many cases and is relatively easy to use. I am surprised the open source community has not built better gui tools, and no project, closed or ope

While I do somewhat agree, the SSN used to be just a number that the SSA uses to identify you. It was never meant for things like credit and bank accounts.

As far as I am aware, that SSN is technically possible. Years ago SSNs could be traced back to the state/location of birth by looking at the first few digits (mine is like that), but they were changed to be completely random a while ag

Well the obvious solution would be to figure out a mechanism to capture the particles that bombard your ship and figure out a way to turn those particles into thrust so you don’t need to take a bunch of fuel with you, which I get it, is ano

They should be required to replace all machines. They offered to give me $50 at one point because my machine is old. I require a bipap with ASV machine due to having complex sleep apnea, and it costs at least a couple grand. I ended up scra

Very few people these days use checks, FWIW, and all checks are electronically checked (and instantly cleared) at the local store. You can still forge a check, but the account that backs it has to have funds and you'll also need to for

You need to look at large companies. You actually should not have a hard time getting hired if the company is sufficiently large enough. Startups tend to discriminate by their very nature. Yes it is illegal, but unless you have the funds&#x

I mean, you suggest using AI to scan comments/code. Maybe think harder and don't avoid a certain tech that is in a bubble and may soon be sued out of existence. I do agree, github and other places that allow user generated content

You should not be building out a generic website by hand. No code or outsourcing to a company that does wordpress is the appropriate way to go. Tying someone down, including yourself, to building/maintaining a site is counterproductive

Big tech companies don't get big and stay big by hiring tons of humans to handle cases like these. Don't believe me? Try asking Google to fix a problem or Facebook or Twitter. (Apple is the exception, but they are much older and e

I have never seen Ruby on Rails be a bottleneck, and I have been using it since version 2. Most bottlenecks are either that database choices or poor code/design choices by developers. That is especially true today.
