Generally you stop taking someone seriously when you can disprove the data pushed, not because of some political cult mentality.

When I was growing up I was ripped out of my Disney fantasy of nature by a video of wildebeest stomping out lion cubs they found left alone. They knew exactly what they were doing and what kind of threat they represented.

I wonder if they got this right: "But some shark species that enter tonic immobility are apex predators. So, don’t have many natural predators." All apex predator younglings are easy game until they are adults.

I think Linux is a counter example to that. A lot of commercial companies have contributed to the evolution and made a lot of money competing with each other delivering support for public projects. Linux has added a ton of value to the wo

There are basically 2 ways to make money. You can provide value where people are willing to voluntarily trade their own labor for that perceived value, and taking it by force. Bill Gates is an example of both. His contribution and a lot

It is not just mass. Hollow points are considered to have more stopping power because they mushroom to a greater diameter and impart more energy to the target. A steel round of greater mass can pass through the target with greater ease imp

.7% growth is an exponential rate. Cities are corporations and the ones that push density are looking for money.

Please remember saying this and reflect on how you feel the quality of life has changed when the city you live in doubles in population. Portland is going to be a great case study for this. They just outlawed single family residences. I

The trend is known as de-dollarization. The US has been able to go into massive debt because of the reserve currency status. As we have been losing that and will continue to lose it, our standard of living will continue to drop like a roc

Shedding heat in space is a huge problem because you can only radiate it. Depending on the refrigeration requirements there may be too much excess heat to make it feasible.

They forget the human cost. Increasing density decreases quality of life. The people are the product of the cities in the commercial sense. The well being of the people is lost in the drive for infinite growth.
