My CalDAV provider is ZOHO. To sync with Android I use DAVX5 which runs a background sync service (open source and non-root). I had a lot of issues getting it working, could be because of different CalDAV implementations. DAVX5 to ZOHO cale

Assuming it works, this is a game changer. Currently I use DBeaver for SQL linting/autocomplete which is great. What about parsing Py/C++/Rs/Java for SQL statements in strings? Perhaps by using multiline strings, VS Code

Are you saying they reduced the quality of the model in order to save compute? Would it make sense for them to offer a premium version of the model at at a very high price? At least offer it to those willing to pay? It would not make sense

From operating drones in the field I noticed that it is needed to keep an eye on the vehicle, but also on the ground control station. I ideally keep my hands on the joystick in case I need to take over control from the computer. Everything

In the 60s we could do a small amount of basic numerical compute with tubes, relays and crappy germanium transistors. From day one, there were use cases for computers, as long as they provided tons of value with very little compute. It took

WhatsApp is huge in the EU, we don't really text much here; I'm guessing you are from the US. Meta has full access to that.

Offering paid support and custom work is also something I see often. I don't have personal experience with this though.

Odoo is ERP/CRM software that comes to mind when open core is mentioned. PS Also look into Cesium, they approached it in a smart way as well, by offering a web services tightly coupled wity, but optional from their open source product.

As cocoto pointed out in one of the child comments, you can click the three dots left of the search button, that one always works. I found out about it today.

How would this compare against producing a 3D mesh using traditional photogrammetry and comparing the CAD model and mesh for deviations? Or would this be unrealistic since the photogrammetrically produced mesh would lack the level of detail

I recently had to do lead gen. I obtained a copy of the chamber of commerce database from my country; in the order of a million records. Then I wrote code to import that into an SQL database. Before that I tried LinkedIn Sales Navigator, bu

Interesting, for me, it has been the opposite. You spend some time identifying the problem, meet with a few customers (if it's your own business) or have a chat with your employer. Once you get an idea of what is needed you get to work

It's quite doable to run your own tileserver. You will have full control over the colors, and you can hide/show things to create a more minimalist map. With some tricks you can 2x the resolution, making it look better than OSM on
