I worked for a company (subsidiary of Siemens) who adopted that horrendous Scrum methodology. It was the absolute __worst__ year of my life. I had to pair with people non-stop even when __fixing bugs__. There were zounds of stupid rules whi

What I did to solve this: I serialized the stack frames and sent it with the messages and later when an exception happened it could be easily traced.

This is as far as you can get with square based grids. :) We call it "top down isometric".

This is not a terminal emulator, but a text gui library. It works with swing or libgdx (you can choose), and soon it will have a web version as well. Let's talk about this. Do you have a discord channel? If not we can use ours [here](

Shameless plug: I'm working on a [Text GUI library]( https://github.com/Hexworks/zircon ) which has the option for isometric projection [like this]( https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/2052450

Two reasons: - I only use javascript if I really have to - Most javascript libraries are so horrible that I'd rather write something from scratch than touching existing code I donate to the Java/Kotlin ecosystem though.

The article only talks about quantity, not quality and that is the main problem with javascript. Not so long ago I had to work with graphs in javascript and none of the graph libraries I found explained the implementation details or the com

Full disclosure: I'm in the industry for 10+ years as a programmer. I just realized that if I want to move in the AI direction I'll need some math education. I don't want to become a data scientist.

So you suggest that I should learn from MOOC then go on and work on some projects so that I can prove I really know it.

I really like to get a degree in Mathematics but I simply don't have the time to throw at it (work, children, etc). What do you suggest I should do to have something on my resume? MOOC maybe?

There is a cool gallery of ascii art [here]( http://www.gridsagegames.com/rexpaint/gallery.html ). I think that ASCII still has a place today. Roguelike games for example usually have ASCII art. Take a look at the [Rogue

The malicious use here is treating GitHub as a package repository. GitHub should not do anything about this other than explicitly stating that GitHub is not a package repository and they cannot be held accountable for using GitHub in

Interesting thought. I'm 32 and I still have these playful thoughts. What's more interesting is that when I act some people look at me in a weird way since it is not expected of me. Not like I give a damn though. I know better.

Maybe I'm a bit biased but I never heard of something like this in Javaland. So packages are supposed to be immutable on npm as well?

I just don't understand how this can happen. In Maven Central for example (Java) if you publish a package it is immutable and stays there until nuclear fire immolates the Earth.
