You are not supposed to get any attention and you are not supposed to have any say in how the city and the world looks. If you buy the building you still don't get to paint. To deface it would first have to have a face.

Mockups in Gimp are great. Then can start with everything wrong, get input and make lots of versions. Thinking about it, we should probably have some tool to make pictures behave like websites for demos.

I just renamed a dozen variables from short rather poor descriptions to good long ones and replaced array offsets with vars. The code changed from somewhat confusing code into easily readable. I'm usually not a fan of giantCamelCaseVar

Still much to big for my taste. It should (IMHO) have performance like a ZX spectrum or a c64, bare minimum io. 4-6 buttons and so cheap you have to buy it.

Adaptation is good but it might turn reactionary if not populist. You also want to limit experimentation to measure results. Like when you change few or many lines of code and performance changes.

I never got to a full plan but over the decades I had many creative ideas that try to be good but might not be. The interesting pattern is that few people are curious enough to thing (or help think) about it. Best most can do is find flaws

I asked about the wero[1] US tech lock-in since it is based on Ideal which (in contrast) also works with a browser + card reader + pin code. The response was not to worry about that. Wtf? I also find the de-banking mechanism fascinating. Bu

At some point you end up writing a lot of code to say something that is a single word on the db query. Perhaps (besides simple things) if you have many millions of users and no money. Or if you need something a DB is truly bad at.

Back when Ajax was a hip new thing someone asked me why xml? We later answered that question with JSON of course but his hypothetical solution was much more hilarious. I'm calling it the html database. He made two mockups. One where ev

I keep thinking how laws rely way to much on hard coded values. Privacy laws should really switch on and off depending on how much citizens trust their government. IOW I have no objection to even the most draconian spying if the voter trust

For me it is more curiosity about what they are doing. If you work in the same field you should be able to have a chat. If it doesn't flow you can't work there if you get along perfectly it would be dumb not to hire you.
