So true. As I entered the workforce I was amazed at how different the challenges I faced were from what I had expected before working in an office/lab setting. I feel like I’m constantly feeling out & soothing the emotions of the p

I know, it’s one of the saddest aspects of existence in my opinion. I wish every child was planned for, had a job and housing lined up for them before birth. Instead we live in a random survival free-for-all. Sex is seen practically as a re

It’s weird to live in a society where the assumption is that practically everybody is having/should be having sex. I abstain.

Okay, alchemy doesn’t refer only to transmutation. It was a legitimate practice by early chemists who were playing around with materials. The mysticism is greatly exaggerated. And the scientific method goes back tens or hundreds of thousand

Nothing in science is ever proven. There can only be accumulating evidence and increased agreement among scientists. If something were to be considered proven, then we would not be open to re-interpretation if contradictory evidence were to

Hunger by Knut Hamsun, 1890. I consider it the first psychological novel. "The novel has been hailed as the literary opening of the 20th century[1] and an outstanding example of modern, psychology-driven literature.[2] Hunger portrays

Good question. I think I view the whole endeavor as illegitimate and seeing non-discrete sex kinda makes me uncomfortable. I wish money wasn’t mixed with sex.

Pathetic men supporting this, even when the money doesn’t go to charity. Everywhere you turn on social media there’s a naked woman asking for money, and she’s often receiving plenty.
