It won't, ever. And that's okay. LA County won't be served by an awesome network of public transit, but if investments continue into dense areas of LA City you should see market forces at work -> public transit availabilit

Lower East Side/Chelsea had way more lively nightlife to me than Williamsburg. The burg just gets all of the hipster press and attention but it wasn't all that of a lively hotspot when I was there.

Just make the pipe colossal. Or multiple smaller pipes that distribute the load. Throw a node.js server behind it and you'll get scale! Don't forget to use Mongo also.

Irvine is the business hub of Orange County - more people commute into Irvine than out of Irvine. It has giant, well designed surface streets and very little traffic (compared to the rest of SoCal, especially cities the same size). Irvine i

Thank you! As an Irvine resident (after living in both SV and NYC, I chose to put down roots in Irvine), you are spot on. Irvine is paradise for me, and traffic is one thing Irvine gets better than most SoCal cities. Great points.

It took me a few days to "trust" the stop and go system. It is very disconcerting at first, especially since it tends to brake later than I normally would - I had to learn to "just let go" and now it feels very natural.
