Oh my god, think of what this would do to commerce, in terms of a capitalist society. Suddenly, you can take a drug that decreases your need for sleep by 50%. People only need 4h of sleep per night now, for a full nights' sleep - 3h, i

How tall are you? We've got all kinds of stuff for tall people. Check out 24" BMX bikes (aka cruisers) - a cruiser with a long frame and 7" or 8" bars would probably suit you well.

BMX racer here. First three pedals are the only ones that count. All we ever, ever do is accelerate from a dead stop and cut people off at the 30ft line. I'm running front-specific rims front and rear to cut weight, and it's worki

Read the info on the video man, the author refers to it as a 'screen link'. Nobody's trying to fool anyone.

Fellow enterprise developer here. Startup culture freaks me the fuck out. I just want to write clean code, then go home and do something other than writing code. I'm not at all interested in giving my life to a project.

It is. But when you're designing for power users, sometimes it's more worthwhile to trade intuitive design for deeper functionality. But intuitive design should always be the top priority, IMO - making something less intuitive in

When I went to buy a Nexus, they weren't available on Verizon, so I went for the LG G2. They are available on Verizon now though, it seems. It might be worth a look. Thanks for the info.

The headphone jack on mine broke every 5-6 weeks, period - no matter how careful or ginger I was with it. I used it in the same exact way that I've used every other phone or MP3 player that I've ever had, and it just couldn't

And what phone can I put it on without irreversibly voiding my warranty? I tried Android a few years ago on an LG G2. Rooting to install CyanogenMod was an EXTREMELY STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE; and flashing back to stock to return the fucking thi

That's absolutely true! hypertextual isn't a one-size-fits all thing, by any means; for me, it's about building what I need - no more and no less - and then getting to use what I've built. If someone else uses it, I&#x27

True. However, I'm very new to web development, and I went with what I'm learning. Also, I wanted to build something that other people like me (who aren't necessarily web people) could use without having to think about it too

No idea. I don't know what Jekyll is; I'm not really a web developer and I'm in the early stages of learning Rails. I read that talk by Maciej Ceglowski and it made me really want to build something of my own, so I did. There

That's insane. I've had a few exciting ones happen to me as well... including offers to interview for the COMPANY I AM ALREADY WORKING AT. That was a fun one. My boss was pissed. Lately, I've been replying to recruiter emails
