Not quite. Firstly, retail is not a huge loss maker like people make it seem. Amazon has shown in the past that it can make a 6.6% margin on retail (which is fairly huge). Even right now North American retail makes about as big a profit as

You need to remove Jet from Walmart and WF from Amazon. Amazon minus WF is still growing at 29%... WF minus Jet and other acquisitions was growing ecommerce at less than 20% from a much smaller base.

Once the SDK is publicly available, putting your code on Github should be fine. I work for the Echo team and we want to engage hackers and open source and create a community around the product. But right now the API is a work in progress an
