> it shows up at the ballot box but you don't see it when you survey. Does it really? Last Republican President to win the popular vote was 30 years ago. Longer than I’ve been alive…

From an outsider perspective Pichai really does seem to be the worst CEO of the big tech bunch. Can’t remember the last time Google came out with something remotely close to a success.

I travel because it’s the only way I can find live-able, walkable cities. America is a desolate wasteland in terms of the places that make me happy.

A human cashier makes a mistake and doesn’t ring up an item? They’ll get reprimanded. An AI cashier does the same and all of a sudden it’s the fault of the human and is liable for prosecution. You should know better than to steal. Businesse

Some have argued that Reddit was doing a cleanse of anything advertiser-unfriendly (quarantining subs, zero tolerance towards violence/anti-lgbtq+, etc) for its IPO. After these events I’d argue that OpenAI was paying them huge lumps

Someone enlighten me as to what possible say a European court has regarding the merger of two US companies? Are they planning to block Microsoft from doing business in the country? How would that not be harming gamers MORE?

Are CEOs of these companies just dumb? Even I, a lowly mid-level IC, can put two and two together to figure out that the Covid streaming surge wasn’t going to last. Where’s my MBA?

I will never live in a 5-over-1 again due to this. Sounded like an elephant was stampeding around every time the neighbor above me walked. $2400 per month for a 600 square foot studio I couldn’t even have peace and quiet in.
