I will never live in a 5-over-1 again due to this. Sounded like an elephant was stampeding around every time the neighbor above me walked. $2400 per month for a 600 square foot studio I couldn’t even have peace and quiet in.
- Ancalagon 4y agoSame, I bought a house basically because the noise in all the apartments in SD is unbearable for me. You can hear a baby crying through the walls three apartments down. Neighbors rolling chairs or stampeding across their living room upstairs at 2am in the morning. Not to mention all kinds of noise is downright coming through the walls and windows outside: jets, garbage trucks, the asshole mustang, an old elevator, prop planes, you name it.
