When you say crypto do you mean cryptography or cryptocurrencies? As of today, I'm not sure focusing exclusively on cryptocurrencies will give you much knowledge in security... the majority of the day-to-day security work I've see

I just learned from a colleague that you can install a MDM if you have a Google Apps account. Of course now I want to try MicroMDM first. I think the major benefit is that this way you control the MDM, and you don't risk that a MDM get

As of today most people seem to want a hole to attach it to a keyring. So it's kind of hard to have even usb-a on one side and usb-c on the other side. Let alone lightning. If you want to give it a try, we'll open source the hardw

Just replied in another thread: it's a few months away, but we'll have usb-c + nfc in Solo (open source security key supporting FIDO2). We'll launch the Kickstarter next week: https://solokeys.com

It works for me. I just tried logging in into Gmail in Firefox 61.0.2 on Mac. I've tried both Solo and a U2F key (Digipass Secure Click). What yubikey are you using? I can give it a shot.

Maybe the Tomu discussed in another comment here would be a good starting point. We're really focused on the Kickstarter now, so unlikely we'll have time to do it ourselves in the next, say, month or two. But the code is open now

Not that I'm aware of. Might be trickier than U2F (that exists already) because FIDO2 is a bit more computationally expensive, and probably larger code base. But certainly an interesting project to add to the pipeline.

We open sourced the firmware. To our knowledge this is the 1st open source implementation of FIDO2/CTAP2. Our firmware is designed to be run/developed without hardware, and we have implementations already for efm32 and nrf52840. W

Also 2FA via text now works. Not the most secure solution, but it's cool to see improvements in usability.
