The Epic case is a slam dunk, Apple has monopolized the iOS app distribution market since the beginning of the iPhone. Epic is just the first one with motive and the money to bring a challenge against Apple. Yes, after a couple of decades o

If it's anti-competitive at 95% market share, it's anti-competitive at 50%. Your position is hypocritical and wrong. Everyone should follow the same rules, not make up their own.

This is a meaningless argument, like I said, innovation and upkeep isn't free. Software requires just as much infrastructure, tooling, and optimization as making a physical good. Your code will bit rot in weeks or months if you don

If the only barrier to entry was money, that would be understandable, but facing artificial roadblocks like those Tile faced seems pretty avoidable with better anti-trust regulation. I also don't think making software or making a platf

The flow requires both devices to be in the possession of the account holder for the migration to start, mitigating any risks of foul play. I just tried migrating on my (Android) phones. If an attacker can get you put in your passcode, they

The additional L3 is per chiplet, so you're still going to have to talk to other chiplets and their L3. Latency numbers would be good to see. This is definitely better than eDRAM L4 on the I/O die, and that's still something

A GPS-only tracker would raise the bar a bit, more expensive+power use. With the Find My network and UWB, it just seems like bar has been lowered without adequate protections.
