That's cute. A man dedicates his life to freeing his people from their oppressors, including spending 27 years in jail on principle, and upon release (and with overwhelming support) calls for "truth and reconciliation". We&#

A few corrections: - Yes, airplanes need more room for takeoff, but you don't need a dedicated airfield. Most streets would do fine, provided you don't have to scale nearby structures, such as tall buildings in NYC. - You can fly

Are you doing force reflection with the Falcon? Doesn't seem like it from your videos. It sounds like I'm being dismissive but I think you're overhyping your tech, just a bit. What I see in your video is not cutting edge (ye

Telemetry translation API? Seriously? You're recording 3D motion inputs, transmitting over UDP and playing back on a Novint Falcon. State of the art is much more advanced than that.

Let's stick with drug possession. Up until 2007, first time conviction on possession of 5 grams of crack cocaine, a drug supposedly used predominantly by blacks (supposedly, but not really), would result in a mandatory sentencing of 5

Three strikes on drug convictions is unfair - especially given the disparity in sentencing for crack cocain vs. other drugs. Do you have any idea how many privileged celebrities would be in jail (some for life) if drug crimes were enforced

If you're saying VCs won't fund semiconductor companies today, you're wrong, they will and they do. VCs aren't as clueless as HN comments make them out to be. They still make risky investments, not because they like ri

I don't know what you do or don't understand, but your post isn't entirely accurate. VCs invest in early-stage companies with strong potential for high growth. That means companies like SnapChat, yes, as well as companies l

It may be that some people with complex scenarios prefer rvm. It would be interesting to hear from them. (for real! I'd be interested!) I like the sandboxed gemsets that RVM provides. It seems you can do something similar with rbenv
