I'm not sure that's right since things are light-years away it means you also need to travel just as long (or is this just as far as outside obeservers are concerned?). But even so, the universe around you would still get older wh

Oh god I fell into the trap as well. I hardly played games in the past few years and strictly single player ones which aren't infinite time sinks. Then WoW classic came and I just wanted to chill out a bit and experience some nostalgia

I don't think "Popular commenter on HN" is a position in many companies. You're supposed to check the "Who's hiring?" threads and see where your skills would match the job description and contact them. Th

Well, it's actually like there is just 1 novel in somebody's basement which noone will ever stumble upon... unless it's in top 3 hits when looking up your name at the one single library that everyone is using.

Well actually we are all victims of the lawmakers as noone dares to punish the CO2 polluters. All this talk of privilege is meaningless compared to what we will all have to endure if we keep destroying our enviroment like that.

I've been using windows my whole life and especially on win 10 everything works fine, but I've been nagged on from all sides that mac is so much better than windows that I finally decided to try it and bought it 2 months ago. Long

The battle of the bastards had good tactics on Ramsey side. It was pretty terrifying how they surrounded them with shields and spears and kept closing the circle. Probably the most intense scene after the red wedding.

From the comments I was expecting a really cool site with a lot of knowledge, but so far all I've seen is genre bashing. Since this is supposedly a general guide on all electronic music, it's really unfortunate they need to convey

I strongly disagree. Autoplay does exactly what I want when binging through series. I would watch it either way, but why would I need to click buttons for each episode when it can be automatic. I support automation, not manual labor.

Same here, I am a dev and it's not bad at all, but in reality if working for money wasn't necessary I could read, make music, play games and have fun with my family. We are frugal anyway, 60% of what I make is going towards buying
