I agree -- I've been a USAA customer for twenty years, and they by far have one of the best mobile banking products around. From what I've seen on BankSimple, USAA has already been there for years.

Except now you cant access the buttons underneath it easily! Bad interface! Why not just make a nice mounting bracket so you get a better angle for a visual, and don't disrupt the hardware interface to your treadmill?

The bigger problem with this strategy is that almost everyone is moving to Laser based detection systems. Detecting at this point simply becomes a notification post-mortem. Additionally as mentioned in previous comments, a solid radar base

Yeah not much reason to look at this with the much larger proven and inexpensive (even free) solutions out there. For slick packaging around this type of stuff I'd check out database.com's screenshots
