I'm in the opposite situation. A friend has iMessage on the computer but just SMS on the phone. There's no way to force send an SMS on iOS anymore. All the guides I've found just mention the "Resend failed message as SM

That is probably true, but a zero vision is a very nice goal to aspire to (and perhaps not too unrealistic, who knows the potential of languages, hardware and new developments?). In any case, tying quality to some tangible, bold measurement

Good point. As a technical professional I’ve always been on the fence about the iPad because of its limitations. I love the form factor and specs, but it just isn’t good enough for e.g. programming. If I was mainly writing and doing some si

A big plus for Calca is the mobile app and automatic syncing via iCloud on Apple devices. Not sure if Soulver is newer or less “complete” than Calca, but it is being updated at lot more often. The updates for Calca are very sparse and leads

I’ve been a very happy user of LiquidText [1]. You can load multiple PDFs/images/documents into a LiquidText project and annotate and cross reference. There’s a separate work space outside of the documents where you can store clip

It only dictates you’re not allowed to favor your own products. I think Apple is already in a good position here since these are all on the normal App Store next to MS Office. The only thing they could not do is unfairly promote them on t

Can you provide said evidence? The article linked above by a throwaway account didn’t contain anything I would label as toxic.

Do you have any links to this discussion? I’m trying to verify the toxic claim and am having a hard time finding it on Twitter right now because of all the noise.

If you see AI as a technological amplifier, it could backfire the other way around. I.e. that the status quo is kept longer than necessary because it is so baked into the technology itself, not only the people who wield it. I think it is pr
