I've only used it with a TrueCrypt volume as a file, where it works flawlessly (unless you continue to add files to the public volume). See http://www.truecrypt.org/docs/hidden-volume

You could create a hidden partition in your TrueCrypt volume, put some plausible data in the public partition and give them the password for that.

Thanks for that tip. It really makes a difference in readability.

You can use a TrueCrypt hidden volume for that. Fill up a normal volume with some plausible data and use the hidden volume for your actual files. http://www.truecrypt.org/docs/hidden-volume

You could have just replied with the name of a test account and told him to post to that one to verify the exploit. In that way you would avoid any permission problems with real accounts.

If you're going to write websites, stay with Rails. I'm a long time Erlang developer and even today there is no good web framework (sure, a few exists, but none of them make it as pleasant to develop websites as Rails). If you

Couldn't find anything that looking like contact hosting. Also, Zoho feels a bit overkill for that scenario.

Still no priority inbox based on bayesian filtering. (hint: feature request). In fact, I'm amazed that most other mail clients / providers haven't taken this further than Google. I mean, it would be great with bayesian filter

Another con that I didn't really expect: Their address book is okay via the web (pretty much like Gmail's), but can only be accessed read-only via LDAP (and can't sync with iOS, you can search it but you can't populate t

Yeah, it looks interesting. Only thing for me is that most of the providers do not look very trustworthy.

I think there's also a difference regarding publicity of the material. Using "your" is more appropriate for things that already are, or are expected to become, public as a part of the standard workflow (think photo sharing application). Usi

Funny, even big sites like LinkedIn break this. Is there some exception to some types of mail, like bulk mail received after signing up with a service?

I'm a bit interested in the legal situation here. I think at least in Sweden, if you asked Google to delete a private document including images (maybe personal etc.) they'd be legally obligated / forced to do so. Anyone know if there are an

The lack of an OmniBox is what disturbs me the most about Safari on iOS right now. The most common use case being entering one of the boxes, realizing I don't have the URL in my head and need to search (or vice versa). Also, Chrome's OmniBo

I'm more curious to see if Google, or users, will try to use the Chrome launch on iOS as a wedge into getting Apple to open up the OS to allow alternative defaults than Apple's own.

Why not let the users run their own CSS if they want to? I like to use the Georgify user script: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ofjfdfaleomlfanfeh... It's not very compatible with your addon, unfortunately.

Completely agree. The only indication of Shift being pressed is the blue glow on the button itself, which is usually covered by your hand while typing. I often have to remove my hands again to see if I pressed Shift or missed it.

Would it be possible to create a bayesian spam filter-like system where new users edits are analyzed and matched to old accounts? That way, admins could get a heads up for a new user that is likely to be a pseudonym of an old user. Would it
