Same here, actually 2022 was my "year of focus" but that didn't work out really well until the final months so I'm trying again. I think learning how to focus and work more hours without distractions is far more importan

I don't think React classifies as "cool" anymore, it's been in the game for many years and has become sort of de-facto for frontend development. Everyone does React because everyone else is already doing React; both from

I'm very interested in The Song of the Cell, thanks, I love books like that and I tried to read The Emperor of All Maladies and I enjoyed the writing but I just couldn't keep reading, Cancer and terminal illnesses just terrify me,

Do you have more information on this approach? Sounds very interesting. I've read and toyed a little with things like Lean and I'm interested in that field but the barrier seems a bit high (without pre-existing knowledge) to just

Not much: Hacker News, Lobsters, maybe Tildes, well and obviously Youtube, Twitter and Instagram but I don't count those as "websites" anymore really. Ten years ago I'd have a fairly large list of forums, blogs, websites

Funny that for me it works exactly the opposite; I'm subscribed to a lot of channels that upload many videos that don't interest me, however youtube's algorithm is pretty spot-on with videos that I will be very interested in

Curious at why are you using DRF with HTMX; isn't DRF more common when you need to return JSON for example and render in the frontend? Wouldn't returning Django templates to use with HTMX be the best option? Or is it for POST requ

I ponder about this as well but I wonder if it's not simply that these things felt more magical just because well... I was a kid back then, I can't expect to get the same level of wonder from a videogame nowadays.
