Oh well, then my ISP must suck :( Anyways, I travel a lot with my laptop: and I don't have WiFi connection everywhere I go: that's why I don't "live in the cloud" for now.

I'm loving Go, it doesn't have a lot of libraries designed for Machine Learning, but it's easy to write wrappers and we have one for Bayesian operations: https://github.com/jbrukh/bayesian I'm investing my time in learning this language:

Looks amazing: but it takes about 100MB of storage, and you can't install it to the SD... come on, I only have about 200MB of internal storage, and about 20MB aviable.

I think of Go as a "modern replacement for C", being designed by Rob Pike and Ken Thompson: I think it's really designed to be a Systems Programming language, I wouldn't write a Kernel or a Driver in Go: but it's a modern alternative to imp

Actually you can view Coursera's courses whenever you want and do it at your own peace.

That would be teaching the students a tool, not a workflow. Well, using an IDE also has a workflow... whatever.

I like the idea of the directory tree, good luck! I have been interested in OS Development lately, I have read some of the James tutorial, the OsDev Wiki, and the Tanenbaum's book... but still have no idea what I'm doing.

Well, the same happened to LISP languages. They never seem to get a lot of traction... until Clojure appeared.

I love the idea, I'd like to stream but I have about 256kb/s of upload speed and using TwitchTV or so it's impossible.

Yes I know, the ending is quite open... but I didn't like at all how Daemon ends, so I'm not really interested in the other book.

I read Daemon a week ago and it was meh... it was somewhat surrealist to me. But nice book anyways.

Am I the only one that likes Unity ? I'm a die hard desktop user: KDE, XFCE, Tiling WMs... but I find Unity quite good.

I hate GNOME 3, but I agree with this move. If you like classic desktops, and you have been using Gnome-Fallback you are doing it wrong: GNOME 3 is designed to be used with the Gnome-Shell. XFCE and Mate are both excellent Desktop Environme

Hey! Really cool stuff. I'm 15, and have been programming since I was 9, but I'm more focused in stuff like Systems Programming and Machine Learning, thus I have not really released anything interesting.

I dislike the way you declare variables, I'd rather prefer the classic: "int x = 5;" but with some syntactic sugar for Stack/Heap. It's interesting anyways, I love the simplicity of C but agree that it's a bit "outdated", and I dislike the
