As a non-web developer I cry every time I need to use HTML: It's really "ugly" in some way (And I'm used to ugly languages). But I have learned to love Markdown too, I hope in the future, distant future: Someone will create a language that

But in countries like this where every Console game needs to be imported, buying one is completly impossible (Even triplicating it's value), so for example if you go to a store, they won't even have original games: but pirate DVDs.

I like the sidebar, just reduce the icon size to something normal and you have something similar to Windows 7's panel.

I am what would be called a "Power User", I have used Linux for years, from Slackware to Arch Linux, and DE/WM from KDE to DWM. I tried GNOME Shell twice, once with Fedora 15 and 3.5 in Arch Linux: I couldn't use it for more than a couple o

I'm not a big fan of the design. I prefer the "minimalist" design of HN. But still, nice website.

Good idea, but maybe we can move this to an IRC Channel and promote it on Reddit and other websites to get more attention.

I have read good things about Webkit, it looks a huge project: but I'll check it out.

This is amazing, I'm worried about the possible security flaws, but I don't think that could be much of a problem. I'll take a look tomorrow and see how it works.

May I ask.. Is there anything similar to Rails or Django for Perl ?

Looks really neat, however I wouldn't pay for it having free alternatives.

There is no single "advantage". Some people just like it, I ran Slackware 13.37 in my laptop for some time: didn't really like it, but the community is nice and I like the "feel" of the distro, the package management wasn't that bad either

Well, that was fast. However, I don't think deleting the pause button is a good idea, yeah: you can click in the screen, but some people might not realize that.

I like the idea of MakeGameWithUs, but I don't have any Apple products... do you have any plans to include Android Development, or Desktop Development into it ?

You can try some Kevin Mitnick's books. "Ghost in the wires" is his biography with a lot of fun stories, recommended. "The art of intrusion" is about more technical hacking, lot of war stories from all over the world. "The art of deception"

I agree, we used Guadalinex, but it was an old version, and it was crappy... buggy, didn't work correctly: the settings keep reseting. Even for worse... no one in the school had the Root password... oh, the horror.

So this means that we can run Pfsense in the Raspberry Pi ?

by dysoco 14y ago
Well, the UX is kinda confusing. By the way... lyrics... please.
567.
by dysoco 14y ago
The UX is really good a nice to the eyes, some suggestions: I searched for "The Who" and almost 90% of the songs weren't by The Who, but instead song titles with "who". "Bob Dylan" worked fine. Please, add support for lyrics, that would be

Or DWM, or Xmonad, or i3, or Spectrwm, or StumpWM... You don't even need to be a dev, just want to learn!
