That was a great read. It's amazing how years pass and the only update to the issue is a large stream of other bugs being related to this one. On a side note, something as small as this triggers the deep down OCD in me and makes me f

This is great. Keep it up! I don't mind the copy/pasting at all (I'd rather have the video progress than watch someone type something out). Looking forward to future shows (and 30 Rock references).

I'm not a Snapchat user, but my girlfriend is. I watch her use Timehop and she laughs at old tweets she made... when she actually used Twitter. She then goes to Snapchat and watches other people's stories for the next hour while

Completely off topic, but this thread is an example of why I (and a lot of people) want collapsible comments native to HN. I'm on my phone, in Safari, and I had to scroll for over 20 seconds just to reach the second comment. The firs

I like a big breakfast of pancakes (with butter and syrup), bacon and eggs, coffee with cream and sugar. That is usually around ~900 calories. I count macros and weigh everything daily. Sugary cereal is my weakness and I can easily eat 3

As someone who has purchased most of your products, I just wanted to say thank you! I admit I've pirated a lot of software in order to try it over time, but I end up buying what I start using in my workflow. I don't make money pr

I feel bad for the people forced to switch due to various reasons. The Mailgun guys were always extremely helpful when we used them and often went way above and beyond in helping us debug mail issues. Also, their webhook API is great when

Man, what a chapter of your life. I've had something similar, and it's amazing to what extreme trials and tribulations you'll go through with someone during a relationship. I like to think we learn a lot from these experien

I'd love an overview of how GitHub Enterprise is deployed and maintained as a product. How are releases handled? Are all installs on-premise, or any hosted at on GitHub infrastructure?

Ugh :( ... He was one of our favorite customers, and an insanely nice guy. Every time we got new company schwag, we'd swap! We were all a bit floored upon hearing this. My condolences to his family and friends.

Not related directly to the article, but I wanted to quickly and highly recommend the book "Surely you're Joking, Mr. Feynman" which they referenced. A fantastic and very fun read.

Same here. Tribes 1 was one the best games I've played, to date. It was extremely fast paced, had an amazing team dynamic, and the character movement (skiing and flying) was beautiful. I haven't found anything comparable since.

This was actually a question I had. I'd love to know: If a company uploads a project minus a license, and I fork that project, do I have free use of that project? If so, would it be point-in-time of the fork?
