Pricing page is pretty bad. Draws your eyes with primary colors and bold fonts to $5000/yr and $9900/yr. I had to swallow the sticker shock and look around the page to see the weird, faded side-bubble telling me it's free.

The way the tour widget toggles is super unintuitive. I kept toggling it back and forth being confused about why it wasn't progressing in the tour.

The Python 3 debacle has pretty much nothing to do with performance from what I understand.

I'd be surprised if they did use Scala.js. It's not even at 1.0 yet and I imagine the ecosystem surrounding it is a tiny fraction of vanilla JS.

I've checked out Hydrogen a few times, but have been turned off by clunkiness in the UI each time. I'd rather use an web based one for quick one offs or just boot up my DAW for something more in depth. That said, it's a nice

The way Rails does this is with timestamped migrations. I assume Django has something similar.

Eh, I go with CDBaby because the math doesn't work out for me as a small artist. I'd rather pay $50 and just have my album up forever. 9% doesn't matter much to me because I'm making peanuts anyway. Maybe if I get big

Well, 'knowing nothing' is a relative term. Myself and the mentioned friends all had degrees in Computer Science, just no knowledge of the particular niches we ended up in. Also, the whole point my post is that these standards re

If you are tired of it, then don't do it. It's as simple as that. I work in Web Dev now. Know how much I knew when I got my first job? Nothing. I have a friend who works in Aerospace. Know how much they knew? Nothing. I hav
