60/40mbps isn't bad unless you want to share it with a lot of people (e.g. larger families). Sure, downloads won't be as fast as you'd like them to be but it's enough for 4k streaming so I don't think many peop

Warranty is 2 years minimum but manufacturers tend to add a voluntary 1 year warranty on top. The hope (often successfully) seems to be that customers "forget" that they still can claim warranty after more than one year.

A Reason why Apple is affected relatively often is the huge volumes of products they ship. No other manufacturer ships that many identical phones and probably no one has shipped that many identical headphones over such a short time frame. E

The easiest one is the time it takes to correctly count at the end of the day. That can easily take an hour even for small shops. If you go card only, you can just lock the door after the last customer and leave. Accounting for revenues and

Not Windows 10 but Windows Server is a server OS. Usage is probably declining but it's still in use in most companies somewhere for file storage, authentication (AD), databases (SQL Server) or even web servers.

Shouldn't WSL do the trick? Especially with WSL2 I found no need to use a dedicated virtual machine to use Linux applications in Windows.

Not sure about CIA but heard the military let's film studios use equipment (up to tanks and planes) for free as long as they have a say on how they are portrayed. That's a powerful incentive.

Germany has seen a huge shift over the past months. Before that, paying by card for small ticket items such as in bakerys was frowned upon (or just not possible), now it's used by the majority in some areas.

Also, with interchange fees at 0.3% and total card fees <1% for many shops, it's actually cheaper for sellers to accept cards than cash.

As few people seem to use Git without those features it would probably be a good idea. Git isn't really decentralized if large parts of the workflow are vendor specific and not cloned.
