I lived for a couple of years in the Melbourne CBD (off Lt Lonsdale) and never had a need for a car the whole time. Different story later living in Elwood and working in Port Melbourne, not having a car to commute along the Esplanade would

Pretty sure funnelling some of that money into health and education would be a better deal for the average US family. American multinationals would however argue more needs to be done to protect their overseas investments and access to mark

I once left cash on a machine and sat with store security while they went back through the video to see what happened to it. (They were happy to give me the money after seeing someone quickly pocket it before the attendant noticed) If they

There's one gotcha though with using a Debit card for car hire where you cannot access the money for the holding deposit until the hold is released. Learnt that the hard way. With a credit card it's not money you intended to use s

Nice idea, but I think this misses the reality of what is happening. Instagram is removing likes because it incentivises an economic system that they are not only left out of, but is a net cost to them. Top influencers make a lot of money b

Memorising sequences is not the right way to look at it - it's simply a result of practice (or playing it too much): More like muscle memory where you see and act without consciously thinking about it. Watch speed solving Rubik's

Clive Palmer was elected to the House of Reps but had sway over a number of senators from his party. I live in that electorate and it was a shocker how so many Labor and possibly Green votes went to Palmer. Good example of how naive tribali

Agreed, and if you don't like how the company is being run - sell your stock. Generally speaking, this idea we have these days that activist shareholders can come in and dictate how a company is run is insane.
