A table is for tabulating data. They have quite different meaning and purpose, even if they share a couple of characteristics.

No, I asked about other things where you think the maker should restrict types of use? Are you saying you agree with EULAs in general? I can’t think of many cases of EULAs restricting usage in the way we’re talking about. Maybe some tha

This repository doesn't work on services , it modifies models that you can download and run inference on yourself. Are there any other pieces of software, or data files, or any other products at all where you think the maker should be

I still don't get it, can you clarify? It's not the research phase that I'm disputing. Clearly for a large codebase, you need some good way to take all that information (code, product knowledge) and distill it down to somethi

You can get away with incredibly vague "specs" in tickets most of the time because of a shared understanding of the system and product – of the kind that an LLM won't have (without very careful and well-organised in-repo docu

I have similar feelings. I’m willing to believe there are scenarios where this kind of thing makes sense, maybe – a colleague has had great success on a small, predictable greenfield project with it. I don’t work on many of those. My main o

This is going nowhere because you insist on conflating gender and sex.

Are you having a nice time repeatedly misgendering one of my trans siblings? I see what you’re doing. A bit of basic social respect costs nothing, you know. And “visibly” as in I get funny looks and sometimes shouted abuse from passing cars

Who would go to the trouble of transitioning, against the vicious judgement of some people, if not to try to live a more authentic life? I am (visibly) non-binary, and I can tell you, I don’t do this just for the hell of it.

Irrelevant, we are talking about gender, which is distinct from sex. It remains that “pregnant people” is a plainer and more accurate way of talking about people that are pregnant.

This is not a case of language evolution, “woman” has never been a biological term. Also the rest of my comment.

“Woman” is not a biological sex, it simply isn’t. You are ignoring that trans men (legally and socially not women), along with some intersex people (neither biologically male or female, by definition, and legal gender varies), and cisgender

No such thing as a “biological woman”. I’ve only ever heard medics in the UK use careful and restricted terms when discussing sex - “male” and “female” at most, and only when relevant. Clearly it is sometimes relevant and no-one is disputin

Trans men are men, socially and legally. Describing them as women is simply incorrect.

I said “the burden”, not “the burden of proof”. Not all inquisitions are worthwhile. The questions in your post have very obvious answers, especially in the context of the article. > Isn't it just like diary-writing or memo-writing,

It is obviously very different to solo writing. The burden should be on you to explain why it’s so similar that this line of conversation is worthwhile.

That sounds awful! For a start, accessibility would get even worse than it already is. The browser may become more “minimal” and “simple” from the point of view of the implementer, but certainly not the user.

Just tried Notion AI to build me a mermaid diagram and it was totally useless. So probably not bothering with that again. I can write good enough English without it and I don’t want to sound like generic slop anyway.

Your English is fine as it is. In this case at least, AI made it worse with all the grating hyperbole (“fantastic”, “perfect”, “stellar”). If you want to improve your English, why not get AI to point out mistakes and unidiomatic bits, rathe
