Google ranks apps higher than restaurants. It would not be all that difficult to roll out a more open source technology that all restaurants could use. Then Google can rank the restaurants more and the apps less. or perhaps a search engine

Yes, indeed. And if Google is monetizing me, I don't equate that to being free. I can't tell you what I'm giving up, because Google does not share with me how much money they are making because of me.

The site does not seem to load too well right now, but using using cell phone location data, it might allow us to identify problem areas ahead of an outbreak, especially when we know there are local transmission already taking place.
