It seems feasible within a reasonable amount of time that the browser could have everything that an app would have, or at least close. But to me for reasons of profit, not user experience, companies like apple choose not to make this possib

Uninstall everything before crossing the border? The 100 miles thing is the weirdest though, especially if enforceable on someone who has not recently/ever crossed the border.

True, and Mandarin would be the better word to use here. Mandarin and Cantonese are for all intents and purposes separate languages. They are more different than English and Spanish.

Some languages like Chinese have a large corpus of information that can be studied, and there has been a continuous effort to standardize the language. it wouldn't surprise me if it turns out to be easier than English. I would expect i

I actually posted a very similar comment before I saw yours. I totally agree that there's always this sort of redirection going on whenever there's something critical of Google here. And there's so much about Google I like. I

302 Redirect: Just an observation that whenever there is something critical of Google here, the leading comments always are talking about something besides Google. There is sort of a redirection at work.

There are some great translation tools besides Google translate. I find Microsoft translate sometimes outperforms Google translate for certain languages. For example Google doesn't even have Cantonese. And there are some translation ap

I like the premise and I believe education should be a basic right. Someone should be able to pursue knowledge to the highest level and receive recognition for having done that. Now so often large corporations will not hire someone unless t

In the right medium, perhaps the user agent would also decide when my posts are shown to people versus an ad being shown in place of my post such that I make money. Then a site like Facebook would only make a small portion of my ad revenue

I would so love to have a search engine setting in which I could remove the top 500 web properties from my search, or have similar parameters to help remove large swaths information that I'm not interested in looking at.

I want to have a right to know how much money was paid for my clicks and views. At the very least, I should have access to all data regarding my clicks and views and have the right to ask that to be removed completely or for a date range.
