Recently Claude helped me fix a security issue and while it was present Claude would talk. But after I fixed it and tried to talk to Claude again Claude stonewalled me like it assumed I was trying to introduce a hole…

I don’t really dread or notice macOS updates like windows updates. I will say that in my experience with AI my code and that of my employer has greatly improved. So maybe there’s a split between big companies and small as far as quality g

I feel like that’s a personal topic with you and the idea that someone draws some content and somehow certifies “it’s ok” has plenty of obvious issues unrelated to the topic.

I mean freedom that doesn’t violate other people’s freedoms, like your CSAM example.

Naw most people have concepts about freedom and harming others like you describe.

I think there is space in “things that are illegal / harm” and other choices. Freedom in general is always a compromise to some extent.

It’s interesting how many revolutions and even small efforts surrounding the concept of freedom very quickly go from “freedom” to “no actually I mean freedom for things I like”. It’s a constant pattern. Principles are hard I guess.

So when the company has trouble the employees are potentially out of a job and their stock drops? This seems like an eggs in one basket situation.

Is that something that happens? I’ve owned company stock and I’ve never noticed a situation where the employees owned enough to make a difference in how the company operates. The only exception being a company designed to be employee owned…
