It’s amazing. Had a whole horde of bot accounts posting fake news / fake criminal history about Renee Good on other sites. How sad do you have to be to post that about people?

“You didn’t negotiate with me enough.” “You should have raised your offer.” Sounds like negotiation enough…

Kinda wonder if that’s the point.

The guy in the story would seem to have suffered from it all.

I always remember it as a part of the "leet speak" cultural phenomenon. I honestly have no recollection of tying it to "and popularized in dancehall anthem by rap song “Whoot, There It Is” (single released March 22, 1993) by

How much do you desperately need your ego stroked to have someone give you THEIR Nobel Peace Prize?

I don't know what you mean by "all of them are used" in response to my comment. It's not clear if you understood my comment or not.

They integrated into twitter where it was used predictably… and then blamed the users.

I suspect they are using it in this encounter, where someone just out for a walk is harassed by armed men… https://www.reddit.com/r/Minneapolis/comments/1qbawlr/minnea...

I wouldn’t put anything past the current administration. Growing up I couldn’t imagine people being interrogated by masked armed men for daring to … go for a walk in the US. But that’s a thing now. Trump threatened to use the insurrection

I had to edit the title to fit on HN, original title: "Deny, deny, admit: UK police used Copilot AI “hallucination” when banning football fans"

This seems like something that would have nothing but bad consequences.

A while back here on HN and reddit I started noticing accounts in US / China threads with some amusingly similar or identical stories. They would mention how at least while in China they could walk around without wearing their backpack

For a while almost anything negative about the Trump administration was flagged in new… in just minutes.

I’m not in favor of doxing. But let’s be clear, it’s not a few bad apples. ICE by design is operating outside the law. The videos are endless, people outside their homes on a walk questioned and threatened with arrest if they do not produc

My question about these kinds of scans is that under normal procedures, let’s say an orthopedic issue, a radiologist looks at the scan but wouldn’t an orthopedic doctor also look? For a more general scan is it just a radiologist? If so it s

Sadly I suspect many people aren’t really driven by ideology as much as they wave around ideology when they think it gets them something they want. Outside that… ideology is out the window.
