Yes. There's no incentive to make good software from a business perspective. Sure, most developers worth their salt would love to do it, but it's not what they're paid to do.

Where carbon literate is defined as "shamed or forced agreeing with my opinions". Sure, I care if eating a steak has a bigger carbon footprint, I'll try to reduce my driving from London to Brighton.. I might even try to think

I think the mind-map might provide an interesting interface / visualization of AI assisted thinking.. I don't think AI is quite there yet, but it could be.. For instance, it might be interesting to do free association type thinki

I guess articles like these are why everything seems bland, flat and unfinished. I disagree on the aesthetics. Borders make it look nice and good. When in doubt, add another border. I think it's an interesting perspective, I've he

While I immensely enjoy driving "the human way", I think a total-ai roadsystem would be much more efficient and do away with the clogging.. A lot of clogging comes from humans being terrible at merging and driving in general.

> and if so, by how much— Wait what ? So, you first have to squint, real hard, to find out how much past the printed number the indicator hand is, and THEN you have to do what kind of non-math magic to find out "by how much" ?

I'm driving an older car that has an analogue speed dial and a digital display only for cruise control setting.. If I'm not already on cruise control, I'll press "set" just to quickly see how fast I'm going.
