Very nice, thanks. One thing that is odd/slightly annoying is the way the comments initially scroll up. The issue is that the comments list scrolls at a different speed to the speed at which I'm dragging it due to the simultaneous scrolling

Maybe your client was wanting ubiquitous Excel-compatible export/import - not for the back end to actually be Excel? Making any table in your app exportable to at least CSV is pretty straightforward.
