This is a little bit silly. I agree if you're not beholden to support old versions of IE then there may be some overhead in full jQuery, so it's worth pointing out there some lightweight alternatives that have a similar API, e.g. * http://

I sent this to a friend who's deputy head at a school in the UK about 18 months ago and they're now using it to great effect in a few subjects: http://www.ted.com/talks/salman_khan_let_s_use_video_to_rein...

Nice idea. A few problems spring to mind: * Doing the following will hang if the stdout buffer fills up: var output = process.StandardOutput.ReadToEnd(); process.WaitForExit(); Take a look at Kudu (Azure's Git publishing platfo

One concern is the ordering of buttons. Windows users will be used to OK/Cancel whereas on OS X, etc Cancel/OK is the norm. I wonder if this is something this library should handle?

Off-topic somewhat, but I appreciate the way the slides used `location.replace('#'+n)` so my browser history wasn't littered with slide navigations, hence the back button brought me back here (but slides are still bookmarkable).

Bear in mind they're time limited. If you're running Windows 7 you can use multiple instances of "XP Mode" (basically Virtual PC + a VHD image you can download from MS) to run all versions of IE http://blog.dotsmart.net/2009/06/24/using-wi

Don't forget that Sinofsky was that guy that convinced BillG that the web/internet was the way forward rather than the closed proprietary AOL-like MSN of the time with his "Cornell is WIRED!" email/memo: http://www.cornell.edu/about/wired/

Jeff Atwood got some, doesn't look like it worked out well: "two of the 27" Korean $350 s-ips monitors arrived. They are amazing panels, but lack of hardware brightness control may be a showstopper." https://twitter.com/codinghorror/status

I think Alex Micek's infinite scroll is the most impressive I've seen - progressively-enhanced and doesn't break the back button: http://tumbledry.org/2011/05/12/screw_hashbangs_building . Impressive bit of work from a dentistry student.
