The HP Reverb G2 has exceptional resolution that basically eliminates screen door effect. I think the bigger challenge is not screen resolution but lenses. The G2 has quite a narrow sweetspot so although the centre of your vision is basical

I don't think it's slow but it doesn't explain itself. When you see an event or character interaction without much context, it seems irrelevant and doesn't register so it might feel like nothing is happening. When I rewa

Indeed. I deleted a gcp project at the same time. However, it would be fun if it had a UUID clash with a google service :)

Nah. I have this laptop too and at the time, the 1050TI was considered underwhelming but "well this laptop isn't for gaming, it's a business laptop". The contemporary Surface Book 2 had a 1060 with almost double the perf

I am quite curious about the old London coffee house culture. Why don't we have it today? Could we recreate it? Do we have it today in another form? Have they been mythologised? Is it an example of the September effect? It's talke

A lot of vipers died to make me Elite. Its one of my proudest achievements but in truth, I sat outside a space-station and leant a book on one of the buttons of the analogue joystick!

I do like Peter Ustinov's versions. Very different but delightful with a sense of humour. His "swimming" in Evil Under The Sun is a silly thing that has stuck with me forever.

I don't see much issue with making an accident claim given there is "proof of an accident that I did not witness". If the insurance denies Apple's proof is sufficient then the ball is back in their park.
