I think what you're talking about is one of Tornado's demos - not sure how current it is though. https://github.com/facebook/tornado/tree/master/demos/s3serv...

I'd say that in the near future it will be possible to use some of the larger, more widely touted features of HTML5 and related tech. Definitely things like canvas and web sockets as most modern browsers support those now in some form and i

This is a great question. On our last project we mostly got feedback from close friends (one even did a usability study as a class project!) and attempted to get feedback via random posts on the internet. We've been working on something new

A common case seems to be be some sort of 'Donate' link or an optional paid version (app store style) for those that wish to support the developer.

Chrome 15+ supports CSP. In 15 it uses an old syntax I believe but if you use 16+ then you should be able to use the same headers as in Firefox. I didn't realize FF had CSP working as well. Thanks!

I also enjoy creating small projects and would not enjoy being in the position of not being able to work on them or not being able to to release them. Even though nobody else may really care about what I do, I enjoy the ability to talk abou

I'd just like to point out that Amazon didn't use the Android Market for the Fire but used their own ecosystem (whether you want to argue that they built the Amazon app store for the purpose of putting it on their own devices is another sto

I can testify that an EC2 micro (free tier) instance stands up to some level of traffic as long as your site is built well. It is also easy to scale that instance in the case that you need even more capacity and are willing to pay a bit mor

I'm especially looking forward to trying the new interface to Twisted and the gen module. I was about to write some async interfaces to things that are currently not - these new modules look like they'll be helping me out quite a bit.

I'd say learning OpenGL would be a good thing. The OpenGL ES 2.0 spec is supported on both iOS and Android and you can write in C++ for both. It might be more practical use some engine, but if you want to understand what is happening under
